I became disinterested in the RTR, after seeing videos showing breakage and viewer comments that appeared to corroborate that there are some weaknesses in the platform. However, Redcat appears to be active in listening to customers and addressing issues, so maybe the kit will have some improved parts. They also just released the axles in preassembled kit form(part #RER13033), which seems like a positive move.

It would seem kind of neat to get the Wendigo kit and build it with a Castle MonsterX esc + Sensored 3800KV 1410 motor, but only because I happen to have that system, and have yet to find an application for it. Places to run it are available, but time and energy to build is mostly scarce.

I have a kit coming, I think most of the breakage is coming from the RTR is way overpowered.

More than reasonable, IMO. If this was Axial it would be $350 plus. This comes with steel links, universals, etc. The lexan is super thick. Quality is just as good and or better than the big boys. They have stepped it up.

Totally agree on that price. If this had a servo on axle mount, would be perfect. And I'd buy the axles just to replace my wraiths' axles
