Volksrod Pickup

Don't tell me the stacks are brake-line flares. I've been throwing them away all this time.

Actually-I made good use of the top end of a Muscle Machines engine. Used the stacks and carbs-plus I sectioned down the blower to make the top of the engine block. You could use the flare ends as well for the stacks.
Just a note-the fan that you see on the front side of the engine is an old Norelco electric shaver head-

Mmmm hmmm. What he said.

I had to look at it several times to figure where things were tucked in.

Spectacular sir. Love it.

If tamiya would mold in real details into their gearboxes-would be pretty cool!
thanks-

Ok another update-got paint on the chassis and suspension, sprayed the body and interior. Did an old school copper gas tank. Wheels are painted-need to finish the interior, get hubcaps on the rear wheels-install electronics, lots more little details to go-top, etc...

I am still so impressed..

Appreciate it!

I'm speechless, that is work of art! Very well done is the understatement"thumbsup"

Let's see how it finishes up-but thank you!

The paint really ties it together. Diggin the hubcaps, too.

Thanks much for the input and feedback. Paint is red auto primer from a rattle can. Real simple. I have to thank the 1:1 volksrodder and rat rod guys for making flat finishes "cool"-takes a lot of pressure off trying to do a gloss finish-

Awsome"thumbsup"
Thank you!
