My Twin Hammer

This pretty much box stock, but is fun as heck to bash as is, I have only added a front locker, rear sway bar and wheels/tires...

Well Im working on body panels. I was inspired by you guys and have been out of RC crawlers for a while, decided this twin hammers was the best of both worlds. Picked it up like new for $250.

So far picked up a RS Pro and 17.5 redline from holmes hobbies for 156.00, stock gearing. GCM Upright mod, Vaterra rear links(had to notch them for clearance with the KING shocks), titanium upper links, Plastic dipped speed control and liquid electric tape on seems of motor, 133 oz hitec servo, plasti dipped all my batteries, and Im sure a few other things.

Pro-Line super swamper XL's. Vanquish led light bars, mounts and tail lights being installed tomorrow. Just finished the modded roof, it is in paint now. The panels were made with basic hand tools, and used solder for the scoops to smooth the seams. I think it is looking pretty good. Once it is complete, Ive got some scale decals for it that should complete the look.

Plan on a currie axle and wheels in the near future. Let me know what you guys think.

Well its done, for now! I just need to make the passenger side panel and put the stickers on that side. I took a pic to kind of give a view of the lights.

Then I put the stickers on. I wanted the pro rock buggy look so I used some scale stickers and some pine car decals to create the look I wanted. Not perfect, but it looks pretty good.

Need to make some adjustments to my esc, dont like the reverse stall feature. Super annoying! This is the first semi scale rig I have done. I can see how addicting it is. Here are some pics.

cut the panels from some scrap styrene I got from a sign shop for the low price of free, some had vinyl on them that made graphics easy

and I am at work on a fully custom built styrene hard body, I'm no where near done with it

Not the best pictures, but what the heck...

Velineon Brushless system running on 3S, Gmade Piggy-back 103mm shocks, RC4WD Rock Crushers.
