Vaterra Twin Hammers Picture Archive - No talking

Thought it was time for a second rig, thought this would be a good choice after my wraith. Love the thing so far!

Inspired by Dinky RC's little rock bug (I think Dinky RC Jr. built it), Tedo's Twin Hammers custom cage buggy and Siggy's old Spidertrax rock bug build, I decided to try my hand at brazing a cage for my Twin Hammers. I think it came out pretty good for my first semi-full cage build. I had to teach myself how to braze, so I started from scratch by watching YouTube videos and reviewing builds on here.

While the roof line was always supposed to be exaggerated, I think I went a little too high. Oh well, it can always be fixed down the road. The darn thing is going to be top heavy anyway.

The cage attaches to the original pan chassis mounts with four screws. I still need to finish up the interior (shifter, steering column, dash, etc.) and add other details such as lights and radiator.
