Utb18 4ws programming

I have axial utb18 4ws rtr. It came with a spektrum SLT3 transmitter. I prefer my DX3...so I bound my DX3 and my 4ws left the chat. I can program Chanel 3 on the thumb rocker to turn the rear wheels either left to lock or right to lock but unlike when I first got it and picked a mode with the thumb rocker and rear steer was controlled by the wheel on the transmitter now I can only turn to lock on one side or the other but no movement when using steering wheel..
Is there a way to get the 4ws back to the way it operated out of the box...?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I can't help as I don't have this rig, but bump to hopefully help.

I’m not the brightest bulb out there, so if this makes any sense maybe someone a little smarter can add to it. It sounds like you need a radio with channel mixing so you can use the steering wheel to control two channels. At least that’s the first thing that came to mind.
