Ultra Power UP6+

I just picked up a UP6+ yesterday to replace my old Hyperion Duo. Seems like a good charger, and is lightyears easier to setup compared to my hyperion. My only complaint is the discharge function, in the settings you can set it for up to a 3a discharge, but no matter what it will only discharge at 0.7a and it takes forever cycle a pack or to put a pack into storage. Am i doing something wrong? Would like to hear from other people who also own one.

Take a look at the spec sheet and see if if lists the spec for discharge wattage (not amperage). What's the value?

A quick look at the specs state that you need the external discharger to do above 8 watts.

Based on the math it appears you are trying to discharge a 3S battery, if so a 0.7amp discharge would be correct and within stated specs of that charger.
