Thinking of upgrading to 2662 shocks. Anything any better out there? Yes I know I'll be loosing 9mm in length but I don't see that as a show stopper.

For the money you can't buy a better shock! They are what I'm using on my Bulldog Bronco build."thumbsup"

If you lose 9mm in length, that's great imo because I've internally limited my Vaterra shocks by 9mm (3/8"). There's a couple different lengths of the Traxxas Big Bores if you wanted to change up or run shorter front than rear or vice versa. "thumbsup"

Ernie,

X2 "thumbsup" The real beauty is the never leak!

On his Bulldog Bronco build looks like Losi Mini-T Springs (front and rear available and are different lengths and rates) these fit over necked down lower portion of the shock body and seat inside the lower spring cup (not outside like larger diameter springs).

Can also use Losi 1/10, HPI, Axial Wraith springs fit too, slighlty different OD on the springs, but they will fit.
