will the traxxas 2065 servo fit in the micros? i was wondering because i want to upgrade the stock one and have it be waterproof.

Well, I went and searched Google to find the deminsions of both the servos.

I found this website:
servodatabase.com

If you search for the traxxas servo, it will give you the lengths and stuff, I think if you search for the other one (stock losi) servo, then I think you would be able to compare the dem. to find out if it would fit. Just a guess. "thumbsup"

Waterproofing your own servo is easy. Just buy some dielectric grease and some liquid electric tape (both can be found at your local Lowes or Home Depot). Open the servo case and pack the gears and horn with the grease. Then shut the case and slather it with the liquid tape. Wait about an hour and you have instant waterproofing. I've used this trick on two different crawlers and both have been completely underwater. All of my servos still work perfectly. I also coated my McRC's ESC board with liquid tape. Keeps it protected from drops as well as from water and mud. Total cost is about $15 and you've got supplies for dozens of electronics.

Definitely don't waste your time waterproofing the stock servo because they break very easily. Buy an aftermarket servo and coat it instead. I believe that Traxxas servo is too large anyway. Finally, pics of my waterproofing:

And the case covered in liquid tape. Make sure you cover all the seams in the case and especially the spot where the wires come out. It may take 2 coats to get it completely covered.

And here we are under water. In that shot the servo is only halfway in the drink, but I've gone far deeper.

I tried this on my AX10 first. It's worked perfectly and I've had this truck completely under water before. Also, if you are planning to go swimming with your truck, make sure you take apart the axle and transmission and grease the gears (I use Belray waterproof grease). The stock grease runs easily and you can tear up your gears in no time flat. Also grease the bearings to prevent them from rusting. And make sure you clean your rig thoroughly after you run in water or wet mud so you don't rust screws or get any dirt where you don't want it.
