I'm not sure what state my go-fast will be in (I still don't have batteries or a body... and it's not brushless) but I may come up as a spectator and to crawl!

Cool, you have a 1/16th scale class. I can bring my daughter and her ECX Smash that is brushless.

I was able to get out and drive the course with my sc truck. There is a few fast sections and a couple slow sections also, giving you plenty of time to walk with your rig. The area is in two adjacent parking lots and a baseball diamond. Figuring out which way to walk and when to do so is key.

The whole thing took approximately 3 minutes but I wasn't counting and my tires had hardly any grip on loose gravel. It was a fun circuit though. I hope to see people out.

Crawliestsalinan, if your 1/5 is electric bring it on out. A part of the course I had planned is a bit narrow for something that large but hell, give it a try.

Racedad, sorry to hear you are getting out of this aspect of the hobby. You might join my fb page for the topeka group and see if you have any bites on your rigs over there.

Well, it looks like the kids have eaten my time up again. I won't be able to make it this weekend.

Thats a bummer :( ... The event is still happening on time and the weather is supposed to be cool but clear. I hope to see folks there.

I'll be out of town this weekend... plus my Rustler isn't 100% complete (I still need a body and a couple suitable batteries...)
