toe in; toe out

Doesn't matter that much.

But since most crawlers have negative ackerman, so some toe out will help with obtaining maximum steering angles out of both front wheels.
 
Depends a lot on the truck. With an axle mounted steering servo you don't have bumpsteer to combat so the positive effects of toe in are negated and the negative impact of toe out is also negated. So in that instance you can get increased turning from toe out and not suffer from increased bump steer.
