Hello,
I am looking to replace the tire's and wheels on my Yeti score truck, would the Team Ottsix Racing 2.2 Voodoo U4 Tires be to tall? any suggestions please.
Thanks

I was looking at this too. Within short course 2.2/3.0 tires I did not find anything as tall as the stock BFG Baja TA's, there are like 4.75" tall. Most other SC tires are much shorter. I would not want to go smaller on my truck.

I may experiment with some 2.2's I have laying around to see how the truck handles boney'er terrain. For flat'ish dirt I am enjoying the stock tires.

If someone comes across other 2.2/3.0 options in the same height, post here.

The Voodoos are standard 2.2 "scale" tires. I have the gold compound on Locked Up beadlocks. While very grippy, they arent the tallest tires out there. Not sure how tall the score tires are but Im sure they're bigger than the Ottsix.

Here's a 2.2 ripsaw and krawler kx with the U4.

I measured my Yeti trophy truck tires the other day because I'm looking for some tires as well. The stockers are 4.50" tall. I put a set of yeti kit tires from my cousins truck and they are too tall and too wide with the stock wheel spacers to run the trophy truck body. They were 5.5" tall and might fit with the correct spacers. I have a set of 2.2 wheels and have considered trying the Ottsix KLR 1.9 stretched on them. They are advertised at 4.75" tall.
I look forward to seeing what other options come up.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 using magic and voodoo.

The super swampers that came on my Ascender fit pretty good, so due the 1.9 pitbulls's.
So it looks like 1.9's until they come out with a 4.50 2.2's "thumbsup"

The RC4WD Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ reps are are 2.2's listed as 4.8" tall and 1.9"wide. They are super soft but with stiff foams may work. I am going to try them out with a pair of VP Method wheel I have. Will try to get some pics up.

Following this thread.....the rc4wd 2.2 dune xt's look the part and fit but the wheels being spaced properly is an issue rpm revolver crawler wides work perfect for the rear but the front track is too wide

I don't have a Score, but How about some of the XL 1.9s stretched onto 2.2?

I am going to run these on my bashed bomber.

the problem with running a normal non sct style wheel is the offset. they will be WAY too wide in the front. for the score I would pick up a set of the axial sct wheels and any 2.2/3.0 tire you choose.

Agree that front track width is now wider than stock sct wheel using 2.2 wheel with smallest slw hub up front. However once I got everything mocked up with correct hubs, I am very happy with outcome.

VP Method wheels
.225 hub front
.350 hub rear
RC4wd MT Baja MTZ (4.8" tall)

Both the front and back track width is now the same at 12" (stock was 11.125" F and 11.625" R)

Rc4wd makes rear adapters so sc wheels can be used but im no sure which wheels would work.....i used slash 4x4 wheels on my exo but that made th track a little wider..thanks for the parts list solojac ....i may stick to a set of stock wheels for now

With narrow hex hubs the front track goes down to 11.75". This is desirable in my opinion.

I know the truck is new but u can't even buy the stock setup on eBay..I do like the tall tires though..i would like to just get another stock set. I tried suprasales just a size reference and they look like donuts compared to stock..
