This is insane..... Someone tell me this is a Joke!!

Shit like this happens in the states as well and it is getting worse. A lot of times you just don't hear about it unless you look for it or spend time on forums with people who look for it.

Hell, we got social services called on us because my son went to school with a bruise on his thight from playing football with a neighbor. Had a child services worker come out and everything. She took one look at the bruise and took statements from the neighbor and told us that her being called is was pure BS. But she had to do it. The school was behind it. She did bring up a good question that the school still has not answered. How did they see a bruise on his thigh when he was wearing long pants?

The first day of school coincided w/ the opening of dove hunting season. In high school, I'd get up, go hunting, go to school (w/ my shotguns in my Jeep), and hit the afternoon hunt after school.

And this was in the People's Republic of Kalifornia!

Times have changed, and not for the better.

Also in California, however many years later,

Junior year of high school (2004) 2 of my friends were expelled for the same reason. We had a closed campus school, so we were basically locked in during school hours. They cut morning classes to go hunting and were caught with the guns trying to sneak back in. The school blew it so out of proportion, they evacuated all the classes and cancelled school for the rest of the week so they could investigate.

I'm almost scared to see where we will be in another 10 years

Same thing happened to my buddies that forgot their airsoft rifles were in their cars. Closed campus also.

I'm assuming the gun issues with schools are like people here have brought up are because of Columbine. Not entirely, of course, but probably played a large part. I mean, look at airport security since 9/11.

dude has a lawyer and is suing..hopefully all involved lose their jobs but thats wishfull thinking and extremely unlikely to happen

In the 80's when I was in high school, a small school of 200 K throu 12. There was at least 7 or 8 trucks in the parking lot with shotguns on gun racks in the rear window. One was mine and it was no big big deal to anyone. I don't think you can even have a gun on one of those racks now anywhere.
