The Official RECON G6 Q & A Thread

I run brushed. Either a 27t or 35t, both on 3s lipo. Cheap and reliable. Decently fast, but not screaming, crazy fast like brushless. No need for that kind of speed on a G6.

I run a 35t on 3S, but I have seen a lot of G6'ers start running 55t on 3S. I tried it, the crawling is great the wheel speed is there when you need it, but I just like having some giddy up and go when I need it.

With that said, I am still working on a brushless system.

There is so much going on there, 3000kv, 80000kv, hidrochloride powered sensorless....really....what goes fast and can crawl.

Florida scalers / G6'ers have brushless sensored tech down to a science. "thumbsup"

Sniff, Sniff, Sniff....

Do I hear a challenge for more body parts that most likely the loosing person will never give up?:lmao::lmao:

I'm trying to finish the G6, not break on the 3rd trail marker.

Challenge accepted :flipoff::D
Blown trans...Cantina...3rd gate.

Oh to answer the original question...45T on 2S in the 1.9 and 35T on 2S in the wraith

True, and there is a reason for that, I bring cans of driver to give out, and YES Dan, I have the new style of driver that should give "the wraith" the driver that it truly deserves"thumbsup"

Running 55t and 3s on my rig....wife and kiddo are 55t on NiMh ....all of us are slow and methodical.... I could probably move to a 27t and be okay....

As slow as possible and as fast as necessary are words from an off road legend that I was fortunate to meet at KOH this year, Pat Gremilion of Pull Pal.

I do prefer Lipos over NiMh batteries. I don't know if it is the performance factor or me thinking they are like nitroglycerin and could blow up!!!! :shock::shock:

LOL.
