F9 Capra with a 3 gear and V2 dig.

Started with a set of F9's I picked up used, I really like the Capra but it just feels too wide and tall. (I still have my kit build and enjoy driving it)

Picked up a used complete chassis from "The RC chop shop", built a Vanquish cased 3 gear trans with the Hurtz V2 dig unit on the back (all orange because thats the best color), drilled out the stock skid to mount the three gear with some spacers (ball ends and aluminum spacer) and used some random links for the front uppers I had to make the caster work well in the front. the rest of the links are a 12.3" SS Incision set.

Incision drivelines fit great and I think it came out to 12.3 or so inch wheelbase.

Drag link is a bent pan hard from a 10i kit, if you have an extra correct one id gladly pay shipping.

I agree. I have a Capra with AR44's and I drive it way more than my kit built Capra. Mine could perform better, but the narrower axles look better and are more fun to drive.

I've never seen a steering rod bent like that. Purpose/Advantage?

He said it's just a bent panhard link that he's using for now, otherwise you could theoretically add a bend if clearance was needed for some reason.

What was involved to get the Hurtz dig unit in there... did you have to cut the cage?? Did you use a Vader skidplate?
