Crawl Space Sunday Scaler Fun Runs and GTG's

The summer is apon us and time to get your scale rigs on the rocks and having fun.

This series is free and open to all drivers and Class 1, 2 and 3 rigs.
This will be an informal fun run and GTG comp series, geared towards timed courses with scale points being tallied for bonus time on each course.

Scale points and course set up will be based on SORCCA rules and scale point system.

There is no minimum scale points required to run but are suggested.

**NEW COURSE STYLE created by The Crawl Space**
TEAM TRUCK CHALLENGE
The idea behind the Team Truck Challenge is for everyone to run at the same time with no waiting between courses or other drivers to finish courses. Wheather you have a full blown modified rig or a box stock truck you can still run and have fun on the Team Truck Challenge.

Im gonna do all that i can to make it to all of these, but work can be a pain with free time.

We're open to it. Just dont want to get harassed by the authorities, a bunch of guys playing with toy trucks, in a park, at night. I've seen movies that start like that :lmao:

Very understandable, but if enough people are interested in it Im in. What kinda movies do you watch ha ha?

June 10th. Location change

Alrighty gang, we have a change of location for the June 10th. GTG.

The Bear Creek spot was overgrown with plants and hella bugs, so no go there.

We will be setting up at Lutz Complex Park for this first event.

Here are the directions from I-70:
Take offramp to north Kipling St. Head north on Kipling St. to 58th. Ave. Take a left on 58th. Ave. and then left into to the park. Take a right and head to the end of the parking lot and we will be there "thumbsup"

i was at lutz the other day...water is a little high, but that could have been from the rain...water crossings are not that bad though... the wraith almost got washed away once or twice...no weight in the wheels etc......other then that the bugs were not too bad nd the weeds are just about right....if we do a water crossing...it may be a good idea to bring a pole to clean out some of the moss...its rollin deep right now.....and maybe make a plank bridge for those that are not waterproof.....just some ideas/recent spot conditions.....

Right on Van, thanks for the heads up "thumbsup" good looking out.

Justin and I will be building some bridges, ramps and whatnot tonight and tomorrow and bring a broom and pole for any moss

i detonated a drive shaft bad the other day, replacing it with a mip right now...might make a showing i dunno

Blew up my motor, end bell came apart and melted the solder off of the negative lead. And that's on a Holmes. I'd hate to see what would've happened to a lesser motor. No more 5000mA batteries for Joe. Or going brushless on the wraith. Either way it'll be a bit before I can git er runnin. All my money's going to the condo right now:(

I'm there maybe just late trying to get the 4 wheel steer tubber together ....
