yeah....no response. there is only one cop in elko from 6am to 4pm and 4pm to 2 am after that you can get away with murder in a 4 hour window.

On the other subject, be thankful you don't live in Iowa or Wisconsin. It's bad here but my God is it worse there.
I always say that Americans should be required to drive in Germany for a week. You learn how to get out of the fast lane really quick when there's a Audi or Porsche coming at you at 150+ mph. People there (including truck drivers) are great at getting back in the right lane.

Some thoughts about this years event.
In years past the Border Battle has attracted drivers from North and South Dakota Iowa and Wisconsin. This years event will be a good test of the Mid-West areas club strength. We should all be grateful for the club we have it's big and and still growing. It struck me how sad Super's news was the other day about his "Wisconsin gang" they had a good group and had a good thing going including indoor crawling. Today our clubs comps have as many entries as some of the bigger events. I give all involved locally for developing our current program and all the credit. We now allow any person interested in crawling with any kind of rig a place to compete. Stepping away from the burdensome rules in 1.9 and 2.2 scale and maintaining USRCCA 2.2 Pro rules was simply brilliant. Two years ago when this formate was developing I was wrongly skeptical. Today all I see is solid positive growth in all three classes. We should be grateful for our progressive leadership group who so wisely saw a better way. "thumbsup"

There wasn't a thread discussing it so you didn't miss it.
Moved it to a Saturday so that people who would have to travel to make it could be there and use Sunday to go home. Some of the Sconi boys are staying at hotels and driving home
