The best of my mountains hiking & crawling

Dude, that is some awesome trail riding/hiking area. Wish I had terrain that wasn't completely covered in snow. And the cave, there are no words to describe the coolness factor for taking an rc. At least for me anyways. lol

After looking at all these, I have decided that Alaska needs twice as many summer months. I need to go hit the local switch back trails with my crawler. Not to mention some farther away mountain trails.

Saludos!

Incredible Pictures! one day i am hoping to be able to do the same with my summit. one of these days.
Thank you for taking the time to share and post these pictures.

Epic terrain and photos as always. You've got to have the highest mileage Maxx in the world by now. How much of it is still original?

What surprises me is that after all these years it appears your still RCing alone. How haven't you gotten your friends addicted?

Very few original parts, perhaps some of the chassis, in the current setup almost everything has been replaced and adapted to run on medium and high difficulty RC trails.

With a few exceptions with my TRX4 and some friends, or participation in encounters, most of the hikes with Emaxx are hard and there are few colleagues willing to follow them: Get up at 5 in the morning, do 200 + 200 km of road in the day, sometimes in adverse weather conditions and that kind of things... Not easy :flipoff:

Your hikes are beautiful and have been snooping for a long time and dreaming of joining if I lived anywhere remotely close...

Curious what what is your run time and how is it wired? Assuming lights wired separately. Is there a change over to LiPo in the future or no because of voltage?

Currently lights are 2 * 7W 12V led, 1400 lumens each at 3s Lipo 11.1V. They are wired in parallel

If I was closer, I'd attempt to join you. Your living the dream. The terrain and scenery you have are unreal. Some of your photos make it look easy, others really convey the difficulty.
