took care of it used two washers and sanded it to fit them, its a little tight on one side and loose on the other but i used some spacers to take it up.

p.s. how wide should the rear pedes be to come in at 12.5?

I use a dab of CA to glue my washer to the axle where they touch.

whats the smallest pinion i can use without having to use adjustable motor mounts.

a buddy of mine is using ('s with his stock housings! he just removed the spacers that slide over the screws and used opposing holes!

Did you grind the little lip off the side of the brass hex? It helps a lot having a flat face against the wheel.

nope havent done that yet, is it that much noticeable or is it pretty much what clods do. Is there any one wheels holds up better than others?

IMO, the RPM wheels seem to be the toughest.

I have spun the hex inside Traxxas, RPM, and Proline wheels. Last weekend I spun a hex, set it in place and CA'd it in, competed with it on two more courses and no more spinning hex.

Grinding off that lip to get full engagement if the hex is a really good idea.

axial make beadlocks for 2.2 tires and are 12mm hex just like axial ax-10 scorpion

i don't know what glue "CA" is(even though i hear everybody saying it) but i find JB weld works very nice. i ground off the lips on my brass hexes and was still spinning the hexes out in my 'pede wheels. put a lil JB on the outer parts of the brass hex set them in place and worked up a nice reinforcement of JB on the inside of the rim. been holding goood ever since. CA = cyanoacrylite much like "super glue"
JB weld is great too.

Though I would add to this, CHEAP, narrow wheels! After reading this tutorial, http://www.rccrawler.com/narrow.htm I got thinking, and narrowed the front side of a set of front stampede wheels. It gave me a wheel that was almost full reverse offset, and a wheel that was 1" wide! Gave my clod a track width of 11 1/4" with RC4wd X-locks. Hope this helps!
