back in the driver seat again

heya good people , its been a long time since i been in the circle . i hope everyone is doing alright . comp was down for few months :x !!!! longer than it should have been . on the good side my scratch built scaler is rolling its first baby steps and im happy with the results. so you guys doing scale comps now huh , cool sounds like fun i hope to get in on some . does anybody know how or if my JR racing XS3 pro controller will run my winch properly or not on the third channel ??? . third channel will run it butt ounce you pick direction it will not stop , need help any thoughts ?? anyone gunna crawl tonight ?? . max you still have your garage set up to crawl??

Rod was up man! Its been along time. Your radio i believe should work if it has a three position third channel, you may just have to ajust the trim. If not you have to mod it and i wouldnt begin to know how to do that. I think maybe Jrock or Ratterd may know how.

nitrousrod I beleave your radio is to new for the toggle mod,Im useing a JR XR3 radio that I did the mod to and it works my winch just fine.Theres a how to in the electronics section use the serch in the electronics for the DX3 three position toggle mod thay used a JR radio,It might tell you weather or not your radio will work.
 
hey crawler town is now tipping the scales at 3/4 of an acre . havent done alot of yard work on it lately butt thats getting ready to change with my truck rollin again . james i think is the only one to see it and that was last year . its doubled since then . i got more rides than disneyland :lmao: everything from the easy blue circle trails to the OMG!!!!!! black diamond trails. ive crushed two chassis out there and thats just the tip of the ice berg , but its all good. no challenge no fun . as far as my controller goes i just got the wire harness plug so i can use my winch but only manualy with the button switch it came with . but that thread you talked about sounds promissing . my brother hacked his TQ-3 with a dp/off/dt toggle switch and is still useing it 2 plus years later . who makes the a good snatch block ?? been looking but havent seen anything any ideas ?? i saw on the sign up thread somone else has a backyard play ground , what is it like ?? id like to gtg sunday KF or my place . i got the parking , work tables , power etc. only had one person come out and crawl all year so half my stuff is still a virgin and no ones dropped the . . . . . . . . around the ankles yet :mrgreen: hahahhaaa . finishline gots my number , you can get it from him or pm me . either way im in . "thumbsup"
 
so im sorry i missed out sunday i got called into work >_< but i did find you guys a awsome spot up in muphys to crawl on monday while i was up there fishing. its about a 15 min drive off paved roadjust off hwy4 then a hike down some stairs to endless rocks and lots of water to play in if you get creative, not a place to bring a tool box a backpack and all the batterys you can carry is the best bet. ill see if i can find a map of it and some pics but its amazing! the fishing wasnt half bad ither. im not going to lie its a pain to get from your car to the crawl spot because of the hike down not a place max would have an easy place getting around i had a hard time but the view was worth it. give me few and ill see if i can find some info on the spot :D
 
Hey james that spots about 7miles from my house,nows the best time to be there because in the summer its full of skinny dippers up and down the river for a mile in both directions and its HOT down there in the summer but there is granite everyware.
 
it was cold as hell down there when we went fishing. but i kept getting mad i didnt have my scaler with me. im surprised u guys havent hit it up as a comp spot yet its awsome.

Hey i'm down to go out for a little while, i'll be at KF at around 8:00 at the upper parking lot to the back. If you want Rod i'll meet you at the am/pm gas station on the way out of Oakdale, Let me know"thumbsup" If anyone else is down come on out.
