------ Team LERK Night/Day GTG------

Hey Flomofo, maybe the thing to do is put some money into the nice scalers you have so they work better for this format of competition. Just a thought...

The only true Mini Comp Series in our area is put on by CVRC.

LERK only runs Class 1 & 2 Scalers
in competition.

That should make the decision easier if you are trying to purchase an RC to compete in the LERK Series.

No money need for his class 1 rig that thing is off the hook, as far as the minies go Lerk does not run them in competition anymore but we do have an occasional Friday night light gtg's at Kohls or Jason's. If you plan on competing with a minie it would be best to also get 2.2 s or pro class rig to compete at CVRC events. I guess you really need to decide on which events or classes you want to run in competition. But if you just want to hang out and make a couple events here or there for either club you can, all you would need is a scaler class 2, class1, 1.9 minie, 2.2pro and 2.2 sportsman:mrgreen:

Thanks guys, that does help.

Just wanted to run with some people and possibly hit a comp or two and be competitive without going overboard, as I don't have hours to devote to tweaking.

Deal is pending on the truck, so I'll focus on setting up my TF2. Was using a stick radio for it but might switch it to a regular pistol grip in case I go for a 2.2 or sporty.

For class 2, an scx is still the best choice? I was really liking the D110 kit RCMODELEX has but its also a class1 and my TF2 still needs some serious work when I get time.

Scx10 is most of, if not all off our class2 platforms the best IMO. Your class1 should be fine all I recommended is maybe a winch and some more scale points. The class 1 courses are not supposed to be extremely hard and mainly more dirt than rock.

Ya I have a winch, I just made it quick disconnect because the front plastic bumper gets stuck. Waiting until I buy all metal stuff.

Just looking to add driver and decide if I want to do a regular bed, enclosed cab or a rack.

Dont know when Im even going to do fender wells and finish the hood.

I figured on the class 2 stuff it was scx only unless you build something. Anything less than comp, I'm inclined to keep using hard bodies now, the Lexan stuff usually doesnt do it for me anymore unless it has some real work into it.

Hey guys. Two things

#1 Anyone want to meet up at funworks Sunday or Monday for go fast?

#2 I'm looking for an scx10 chassis to swap my ax10 to make a scaler for my wife. Does anyone have one for sale or trade?

Well I was going to wait to let everyone see the all new Bronc-ho but it's just to sweet to keep to myself lol

Awesome

Might need your services, thinking about a scx based Defender with hard body, but a D110 might be too hard to compete with in class 2. Maybe just a short wheelbase defender...

You guys heading back to Kohl's anytime soon? Working on the real car tommorow with a buddy then might hit the rocks for a short session with the Tf2.

Nice pictures, yeah can't wait to get out. I brought mine over to a buddies house to play on his waterfall for testing.
