I have a Team Associated SC 10 brushless 4x4 and I bought a new hobby wing wp-sc8 esc for it and a new lipo. So first real run its was flying, it ran great. I didn't notice the temp that the motor was getting to and then the truck stopped and the smoke rolled out. I noticed that it was at the cut off and the motor was too hot to touch so I let it cool and recharged the battery. After everything cooled off I turned on my transmitter and then turned on the truck, the esc beeped and when I gave it throttle it glitched and then smoked again. So I had an extra motor lying around and swapped them except the spare motor is a sensored tekin red line and my system is sensor less, I tried it before and the tekin ran but it ran slow but when I try it this time the esc won't even beep or power up. Also the servo has a faint constant beep then after about 20 seconds the steering works and the esc fan comes on. But when I try to turn the wheel the fan dies down to nothing. What I'm wondering is that if the motor could cause this or if my esc went bad as well.

How big is the Servo 200oz? If the esc survived that it sounds as if you need a bed and a digital temp gun. 160 that's is it for the motor.
