Tactic TS325 in SCX10 is NOT 3S lipo compatible

What about the flysky combos on amazon for like $50? Anyone know if those will work ok? I'm scrapping Tactic on this build!

Checked with a multimeter, the ESC is at 5v, the battery is putting out 12.6v

5v isnt going to fry that RX. I'd call Axial or your LHS about warranty. Before you do that, unplug your servo and see if the RX still goes crazy. I have seen messed up servos do some crazy stuff to the rest of the electronics.

If those are the voltage reading you're getting then there may be a bad batch of receivers out there. Axial will probably replace it if you want to give Tactic another shot. If you want to try something else I can certainly understand that.

They are replacing them. However, I've had the truck 4 weeks and is been down 2 and I am going to miss out on the plans I made with my son to run or trucks on Fathers day.

Where in the 714 are you? I might be able to help you get going for Father's Day...

Thank you very much shiftauto, I got it smoothed out with a cheapo skyfly set up. It's more than clear to me the Axial / Tactic stuff is not up to the task when it comes to 3s
