Hello all,

i had a tactic ttx300 controller and a tr325 receiver laying around in my parts tub

and i decided to build another car so i (tried) to use this receiver.

so i throw it in and plug in servo and esc and plug in my battery etc.

now the receiver has power (according to the light) and the servo has no response when turning the wheel.

another thing is the motor was not plugged in so i'm not sure if that works either.

any suggestions help.

edit here is a pic.

the wire going to the right is servo, left is esc.

cheers.

How many volts is the BEC set at? Tactic 3ch top out at 6v. What is the servo looking for in volts. This is why I always feed my Rx with ESC power and my servo with BEC power (8.4v really wakes up a servo)

currently don't have a bec on this setup (not a crawler or a high powered servo)

here is a pic of the servo.

now that i look at this esc a little closer there appears to be an external bec (no idea what it is set at)

edit= the 2075 servo i have runs on 6v max.

If you mean the black Part outside your esc. That's not an external bec, this are capacitors for the ESC.

Ah, ok. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I saw somewhere two of the wires on a traxxas servo need reversed to work with everyone else's radio equipment. You would have to research which two they are, but signal is probably one, hence it isn't working for you. Good luck.

i'll look around and will call Traxxas's 1-800 number and see what they say about it.

so if i put the servo plug into the esc port (2) the servo works by using the trigger. if i put the servo in the 1 port it works using the steering trim but not the wheel on the controller.

That's a new one.
Try rebinding perhaps. Or, bind that radio to another Rx and see if you have identical issues. May unfortunately be the tx...
