T2W's TH - pic heavy

I lost drive in the same back rear wheel and figured I stripped the hex again, I wasn't worried because my aluminum ones should be here any day now, but then I noticed I lost this little piece (name?) Is there any alternative to buying a new one from an RC company or can I just buy metal bar in the same diameter?

Ugh, I love the functional headlocks, even though they should have come with metal ones, but damn taking out 48 screws is serious pain

First things first, gotta cut some foam

Marked up and ready to go

The first cuts were not the best looking by far

halfway there…

The cuts got better and better, here's the last one "thumbsup"

I really have no advice other than use a really sharp blade get a technique down then stick with it for consistency

The tire sits a little bit out of the lip but the ring pulls it down fine as long as you go in a star pattern

Done!

Mounted and mean looking, can't wait to get her back in the dirt

Hardbody work is put off, paint would take forever to dry in these cold temps anyways, plus I think I still want to add more details before painting, not sure what, suggestions are welcome though "thumbsup"

long time since I've updated, there's been some changes to my hammers

I added the T-Bone front bumper, I feel much safer whipping through trees and whatnot

also picked up axial headlocks, they're inexpensive and look nice to me

obviously the back has been bobbed a bit too, I am really liking this, even made up some scale bungee cords to hold the spare in place and hide the battery

I decided to get a set of stainless replacement screws as well and am slowly replacing screws that were stripping out

And a couple of quick questions for y'all...my motor isn't running so great and I was thinking of getting something with a bit more torque, what are all of you running? anyone tried the dynamite 20T? keep in mind I wanna stick with brushed and the stock ESC

and does anyone know what weight oil comes in the stock shocks?
