I'm back, haven't even touched an rc yet alone a crawler since summer of 07. Picked up this bad boy in Valpo, indiana earlier today. For the price I couldn't beat it $300. Already broke a rear axle though. Oh well.

I'll be upgrading a few parts over time. Need to do my research as I have forgoten alot over the years. And stuff I did know is oldschool now. Only thing that sucks is apparently people only running 2.2s and 1.9s around me but I love my supers since my pimpcane clod

Possibly, I will look into it after these are done. Pulled all the electronics out today. I need to replace pretty much the motor wires, and battery wires. Its all pieced together and looks like shit + I want disconnects for it all. I have 10 cell 3800 battery pack, and a small 5 cell receiver pack. One of the shitty Towerpro mg996rs stopped working but he gave me an extra so I put that one on there. Ordered a new rear axle part, a soldering iron, a battery charger, and a shit load of deanplugs. I sold every rc thing I had back in 2007 so I have to rebuy it all. No pics for today. I'll get some up once I get it all back together next week when the stuff comes.

Thanks, and yes it is. But I have to redo some things. I'm pretty much ocd now. Pulled all the electronics out and cut the battery out. Way he had it wired battery couldn't be pulled out unless it was desoldered with how he ran the wires. I ordered 10 sets of dean plugs, some 12 gauge wire, and bidding on a battery charger currently. I still need to get some more tools together and get a BEC. Also picked up a 3x2x1 project box from radioshack. Pretty much rebuilding the truck I guess. Oh well should hit the rocks by june 1st

After doing some car audio for awhile and posting a picture for pretty much everything I did I replaced the rear axle today and took a few pics.. Found out it had the ballbearings and metal locked diffs Anyway heres a few pictures. Ordered a duratrax intel charger, cant wait for everything else to get here so the electronics get back in and I can drive it. Also thinking about picking up a new 4x4 Stampede to bash the shit out of and put some 3s lipo in it hmm...
The adjustable motor mounts where a BITCH to get off. With how the nut was between the motor and motor mount was annoying ass hell probalby took me 30 minutes alone

I want to find some new shocks though. I want a droop setup, might just add some internal springs to these
