Summit RC Rock Crawlers fort wayne, IN

I think I finally figured out a fix for the driveshaft problems, and dig issues.;-) If my parts show up on time I hope to have it reconfigured Sunday"thumbsup"

Don't think of it as OT...think of it as earning more crawler parts  That's how I'm spending my OT (other toys) check"thumbsup"

4 more days..... I am so not ready. I have been working to much O/T.

2nd SummitRock June 22nd

I feel you dude. I'm almost done with a 6 month grind. Money is great, but everything else has gone to hell.

I'm helping a friend move Friday/Saturday in Columbus, OH. Should be home late saturday night, and up at 8am to load up and go crawling. Guess I better test run the damn thing tonight. It's been in a shoe box the last week and a half.

I really need to dial in the VTA car and get the 12 finished up. I always put off building the front end.....;-)

Ben

I am lookin forward to Sunday.....

I also would like to go to this:

TWISTED CRAWLERS OF MICHIGAN PRESENTS

2008 2.2 COMP STATE CHAMPS
SEPTEMBER 20TH
(21ST Rain date)

think any one else would be interested?

seth

I'm ready for Sunday, most of the adjustments made, just need a little tweaking:ror:

I'm interested in going to Twisted Crawlers, not sure if I will have that Saturday off...but if it is rain-dated count me in.

There is also an event in Ohio near Dayton in July. There is a thread on Hobbytalk.

How's that dig-thing working for you Ken?

I got mine back up on tires today. I need to tear my front shocks down maybe tomorrow or Sunday morning. My new shock setup left me a little low in the front, tweakin' we'll be as usual. What time we opening on Sunday? I'd like to be the second guy there, and to do some wrenching.

Ben

Ben,

I should be there around 9 or 10. I hear that Ken has a new ride! BERG be thy name. Post up some pics dude!

I'd post pics but you'd see it on Sunday before my dial up finished uploading.

Just as any crawler (apparently) it's going to need some tweaking, I'll have it out Sunday but I think with only 2 days work on it thus far, it won't be as nimble/reliable as the AX-10....for now8)...the potential is there

Ok, I am not happy. I was just out trying to work some more of the bugs out of my new buggy for tomorrow's comp and I broke a front axle. Not a big deal if it would have been an Axial, but it was a T-Rex D60 from RC4WD:-x!!

So I will be rolling the old Axial that I brought to the TNT a couple weeks ago. See you guys tomorrow.

Looking at the points it's interesting to see how there are groups so close together, only 3 points separating Ben, Caleb, and Josh. And Joe holds a slim lead over Colton!

The courses have been tough but Summit Rock is in the learning phases, a few of us are talking about trekking to another established event to get a idea of how others do it. I'm sure any and all CONSTRUCTIVE ideas are appreciated.

I am already planning for the next event :ror: The idea of multiple alternate gates is intriguing.

I think we need a T-N-T between now and the next comp perhaps with a focus on helping each other develop set-ups"thumbsup"

P.S. to Seth: 1st comp 21pts - 2nd comp 4pts - 3rd comp...we'll see what the Berg brings 8)

Sounds perfect Dearborn's not a bad drive, I'll ink it in the calendar. Anyone else in? Ben? Brian? Anyone?

That means we need to either meet this Sunday or next for a T-N-T session.

I got some plans in the works, with my talking robotic radio I'll just have to input the course and it will pick a line and drive for me:lol: just need to figure the right algorithm for the Seth course design factor
