just wanted to show you guys a build I'm trying.

not really sure if it will work. but I think it looks really cool. the body still needs new holes drilled out.

thank you Rich for the gears. I bought the housings, bearings, and shims to assemble some spare axles. then I got to thinking, I have most of the stock parts and electronics to assemble another rig. found this chassis (my answer to not having to buy shocks and another chassis)

all thats left is the moa kit and some misc stuff. the battery mount should be done tomorrow.

heres under the body. the wiring went great.

my question is, will that fxr power two 400 size 11t pullers on 3cell? I'm waiting on them from warranty. or should I start looking for other alternatives? I also have a sidewinder in my other lcc but not really sure if it will fit or work.

Definitely awaiting some test results on this one! Always wanted to try the SSS+MOA, just never had the guts to fork out that much change for a delrin chassis. "thumbsup"

I finally got the battery mount finished up. ended up shaving the factory mount down to fit between the side plates. all the wiring is now done. should be seeing the moa kit soon. can't wait to see also how this works out. has a springy feel to it.

that's kinda what I thought. that's why I have those integy motors. I was thinking about trying my sidewinder. but waiting to hear about that novak dig unit. then I could. so far really quiet and smooth. the extended wheelbase helped but the low belly doesn't. I'll get a better idea tomorrow.

...but waiting to hear about that novak dig unit. ...

What are you waiting to hear?

I've got one, running it on my MOA losi with Dual Mamaba Max's, its working great. Instant front/rear, fast, tiny little board...If you're looking to run dual ESC's its a great option.

my first impression is this thing is smooth and quiet. crawls great, just need to watch the belly. it gets hung up a bit. it's different driving it from my stock chassis and being moa. if you throttle into it, the chassis flexes up and makes it up and over. about 75% of the time.

the fxr gets hotter than I like. about 120 after 6min. swapped it out with my sidewinder and it's way better about 80 degrees. just doesn't fit as well though. I was also pulling the deans apart on the rear motor when the chassis flexed hard. just had to move the wires on the motor pointing more towards the digswitch.
