I have a couple TRX-4 Sport High Trails on order and should be here I a few days and plan on going to softer springs and shorter gearing to start then eventually slightly smaller 1.9” ProLine Mickey-T Baja Pro-X tires on some sort of Beadlocks and a TRX-4 Sport body with bed topper to stick more with the Overlander-ish theme the trucks come with, but more like I would want to build in 1/1.
I already have a 45t spur gear for one of them, what would be recommended for the pinions, especially with the above spur and shorter Mickey-T’s?
Thanks

Ok, here they are, mine is the red truck while Dad’s is the blue one

Then here they are with my Wheely King, SCX10, Telluride, and MF-01x TR Jimny

I’m working out a game plan beyond what I mentioned above for my truck, at least.
I’m thinking that for the body, I’m going to trim the lips off the flares for more tire clearance for the stock tires, trim much the bumper cover that is molded as part of the body and remove the fake winch from the actual bumper then see how far back I can tuck it in. Also going to pull the hard plastics off the body and scuff the inside of the bed and rockers as well as what will be left of the front bumper cover and flares so I can bedline them and the inside of the body.
Also plan on eventually replacing the stock body with one of the Sport bodies that has the bed topper molded as part of it and plan on trimming and bed lining that the same way too.
