The ts80 is the improved usb-C model I believe. But I don't know if it works with lipo packs. I mean it definitely can, but I don't know if there is an adapter.
If you have to solder bullet connectors onto a new motor you don't save any time. If you have a portable soldering iron you can change motors on the trail too.
It's all preference.
I solder whenever I can. Less chance of anything going wrong on the trail.
So u solder the connectors onto the motor and esc wires. If I had to switch out motors, I have to solder another connector on. This seems like sane any of work.
