It's being planned by the same folks that did the comp in Montpelier a while back. "thumbsup"

I heard there is going to be camping and a night crawl. Haven't heard concrete details on anything yet though...

Here is a post off Facebook for those who aren't on there.

What rules do we have to build our crawlers to be able to participate in this? Is there an entry fee? And boy do I need to get my rear end in gear to get ready for this.

802coma, thanks for the smacebook info, I'm not ever on there.

Looks like I'll have to add some LED's to the rigs...

If anyone is interested in carpooling from the Barre-Montpelier area just let me know.

At there last event there wasn't really any rules, just classes by wheel size, 1.9, 2.2, and 3.8 (summit class).

No problem meatmonkey, yeah I don't think we will see to much changes to the rules until next year.

Awesome. I'm going to try like hell to make it to this comp.

The scx 10 is getting there. Just some clearancing to do and she should be good to go. And some water proofing.

Cool.

What's the story with the Yeti class? I may have to run 2 classes!!

Whats a good rule of thumb for batteries? I"m running NiMH batteries would 3 3000 mah last me for the day comp? And for the radio. I'm running just the standard crystals (have multiply frequencies) is that fine for the comp? Sorry for all the questions Just want to have my ducks in a row before getting there.

Thanks,
Ken

Those will depend if any other yetis or wreckos will be competing, last comp there was no rock racer style rigs there. I would defiantly bring it.

Not sure, just got released back into the hobby this year and came from nitro world to electric and lipos lol. I had 1 2s 5000mah lipo last me for the day there. Also what style plug are you? Sorry I wasn't that much help

I'm just running standard tamiya plugs. I just got back in to crawling myself. I have always wanted to do some comps. But there were never any I heard of until the last TTC and I didn't have time to make that one. I haven't taken the lipo leap yet. The house takes priority over the hobby.

Thanks,
Ken

Understandable, I think you'll be alright battery wise. I will have my tamiya to deans adapter so you'll be able to use it I you needed to borrow a battery. No worries!

Thanks, Ben

Awesome Thank You. If the bug bites me bad and there are more comps I can make. I will probably start to switch to the better quality and high performance stuff. Just can't justify it for one comp.

Thanks
Ken

Has anyone built a "hand" winch like the ones you can by at tractor supply? I'm thinking that might be an option for people like me that don't have a real winch in the cards right now.

Thanks,
Ken
