Should I bring back wantAsummit adapters?

Many years back I quit making the wantAsummit adapters because the release of the Futaba 4PL and the hacked flyskys created many "budget" radios to choose from and sales greatly declined.

However, I keep seeing people choose other budget radios than the flyskys (DX3E, DX3C, DX4C, 3PL, etc).

Should I bring back the wantAsummit line of adapters for ya'll? The following was available

wantAmix -Dual ESC mixing for any 3+ channel radio with a 3 position switch. (I could offer a 2 position version also)

3 True Positions -Lets you choose any 3 positions in the channel range in any order you want. Worked with any 3+ channel radio

TQ4 3 true Position - This was used on the old TQ4 that had a weird switch.

I've started working on a couple other projects for you guys and I'm going to have them assembled at an assembly house. I was thinking I could add these onto the panel for not too much extra. But I'd have well over 100 of them I'd have to get sold.

Price back in the day was around $40-50

I still have one of your first units you built. I don't use it because I have two hacked GT3C radio. When I bought it I used it to run my Losi comp crawler with a 3pl, it worked great. I bet that some of the newer members don't understand what your offering. Maybe put up the link to the vidio you made at the time might help? "thumbsup"

Any way to make my dx3e do rear steer for my monster truck ?

The wantamix could do rear steer. But it couldn't do crab.

It mixes two channels and uses channel 3 to control proportional control. Center is full mix. -100% is only one channel (front dig, or front steer only). 100% would only be the other channel (rear dig, or rear steer only). The the numbers in between decrease the amount mix to one channel or the other

I could probably come up with something that could allow for 4ws, off, crab. But no propo. Or make propo work on only one axle?

If i remember correctly, Greg did a good job at commenting code and such so I shouldn't have a hard time modding the firmware to add some variety to the line up.

Sweet thanks for the info . Just rear steer will be good for me if it can be set individually. I don't need as much steering on the rear . "thumbsup"
For sure I'll be keeping up with this and many of the racers would most likely be interested on fb .

Going back through my pics.

I offered 4 "versions" of the wantamix

The wired and straight header versions (Low profile header shown in pic)

And the 90* hybrid version

Basic Jist(for dual esc): Plug it into channel 2 and 3 on receiver. Then plug the front and rear esc into the mixer.
The pots on the mixer are used to calibrate end points and center. If it was set up for 3TP, then the pots control the position of the 3 different positions.
