Yes, but smart sense or sensored only. Some motors react differently. Along with startup power, there are a few settings to smooth startup.

Well I found out why my motor freaked out with its sensor harness installed. Gave it and harness to a friend. He tried my motor and harness with his ESC. Same problem. He swaped his sensor harness and problem solved.

Johnny try your motor again, with a different sensor harness.

I wasn't using a CC esc. I was using a different esc with the sensor wire connected.

Yes. It is smooth even at dead stop through slow and fast speeds. Turns out the motor was fine but the included sensor harness was bad. We tried the bad harness through a tekin roc 412 and the harness caused the same problem with the tekin motor. That is why I suggested you might want to try that motor with a different sensor harness.
