That's sick looking. Wouldn't mind something like this for a mud truck. It would be so much fun.

Re: SCX10 II monster truck build

That's very cool. Do you have any video? I'd love to see it running.

Re: SCX10 II monster truck build

no video yet, just slapped in a castle system and haven't tuned the esc but now its definitely a mud bogger cuz this baby flys and wheelies like nothing

took it to some snow and it torn that apart with ease so keep the brushed system on the side for them crawls.

unfortunately my weak tactac tsx45 servo died well testing the castle system out so gonna need something alot beefer to handle them big wheels.

Re: SCX10 II monster truck build

A $20 servo showed up my $100 servo out on the trail yesterday.

Re: SCX10 II monster truck build

Nice build so far, I just wanted to know what ladder frame you used and hubs?

Re: SCX10 II monster truck build

Update, have gone twin shocks for a more scale look, and swapped out to metal axle housings for some weight and durability.

also unlocked the front to improve high speed turns and replaced the pot metal bevel and pinon gears to the HD ones to eliminate the slop.

switched to a lexan 93 f250 body as my hard body needs a little tlc before its ready to ride again.

and moved to stainless screws as I was getting some rust.

now to enjoy this thing
