that is an absolute bang up job ya did on that chassis!!! You got mad skillz my man...think blue or red would show that awesome chassis off a little more though...either way, a phenominal job!!!

Great job on the chassis ! You should paint it a brighter color though so you can see all the hard work you put into it more easily.

Those of us in the southern buggy club know how much work goes into one of these! Great work! I'm glad you fixed that front end!!!

x4 with paint, I think you should give screamin blue some screamin blue!8)

Hell yeah man! Looks really good! This was one of my favorite buggies to build. The tail was a bit of a paint but i loved the flow.

Nice! How long did it take to build your rig?

I actually was extremely motivated because i built it for bobby tanner. Start to finish in total prob 30 hours from nothing to paint

Dam 30hrs that's all "0.0"!!! LoL I think I hit about 100hrs total lol
This is the first full tuber iver ever built.

30 hours for a welded chassis or 100 hours for a brazed rig. Apples to oranges.

Anyone who has built a brazed tube chassis knows how much work goes into this. The fishmouths, the measuring, the bracing, the fluxing, the cleanup...it's an entirely different game. In the end, you end up with a sharp looking chassis without a bunch of booger welded tubes.8)

You should be proud of yourself for the effort and execution.8)

Oh yeah, MIG welding a chasss and brazing it are 2 different animals. All i have to do is zap the joints and they will never come apart. I feel like welding is a bit stronger than brazing, had a few brazed chassis from members here and joints failed. I love the added security that a real bouncer can run over the top of them and they be 100% fine :D you did a helluva job, dont let my short time frame say much. There was alot i wish i had done different. "Thumbsup"

ohh yes mig welding with gas must be nice! to my cheap Lincoln canr adapt to gas. thanks!

Another trick with solid rod is bolt cutters to make the cut and a bench grinder to get close. Bird mouth from there. Fifteen seconds on each end. Fingers start burning at ten.:lmao:

Nice bro! Looks really sleek and 'Preditor-ish" haha I love it! Great build man!
Seriously! I was thinking the same thing when I was building it LOL
How does the rigid tube cutter hold up to solid rod? The buggy rocks by the way \m/
Not bad at all, I guess it just depends on how patent you are LOL, thanks
