Any body have any favorite rc spots in Johnson valley I've been exploring the area around my house just south of soggy lake looking for good crawling spots there are a lot of resources for full scale but theres nothing for scalers a lot of the full scale trails are fun with a rc but are there any scaler only trails or hiking trails that are fun for crawling so far I've found a cool wash to play in that's cool today I found a canyon where one half is black Rock and the other side is light color granite and where they meet is really nice there are a!ot of side shoots some steap areas some very challenging sections a lot of sand shoots a lot of granite climbs and a lot of black rock climbs the canyon makes a u shape so you end up back were you started and your rig is never out of site u can go up or down ether side I think one way is harder than the other but it's fun ether way its off of escargo rd on the left its hard to miss because of the black white contrast
If you have a favorite scale trail and want to share please do
Enjoy

Right on it kinda fits the full size trail but that's a big place is there any where in particular that's better for crawling I've been wanting to get out there with my 1:1 but never even thought about taking the rc out there

The whole area out there will work for 1:1 and toy trucks. Camprock rd to power line rd keep driving until you see an area have a look around. I've been going out there for yrs its one of the best rc crawling locations in Southern CA.

That would be the long way around from my house but its on the list it will have to be in a few weeks though I worked my self sick working on the house so i need some down time I usaly head east towards means lake and havent ventured west yet
would it be tottaly lame to start naming and marking out scale trails out here map them out and get them GPS locations and bla bla bla like the full scale trails there's nothing like that that I've seen I think it would be cool there are some city's that aren't to rd friendly and it would be nice to know where to go when visiting im some day after my work is done on the house I was thinking of laying out some trails out here just for scalers /crawlers

I'm sure someone would use your scale trail map... I personally wouldn't....
