Salina Area Crawling

went up to Coronado today, twice in fact and had a blast. had to give in and stretch my wheel base back out, had it pulled in for the scaler look, but there was so much that I should have been able to do and couldn't. After the stretch it was almost unstoppable, so much for the look lol. so rally fun spots on the west side, didn't explore the area beyond that though it looked like there may be some good areas in the trees to the north. will get some pics posted tomorrow evening.

How bout Wilson area crawling? i went to the lake for the weekend and got some amazing shots... but i hate sandstone!!! i couldnt find a tire that worked...

went back up to Coronado Sunday, it was beautiful up there and it was just me and I had a blast. The NB body took some hard hits though and now both front fenders are broke off. I had sold some stuff on ebay and had some money in my paypal so i bought the Pro-line bronco body and roll cage. not the body i wanted, but i can't find any others that I like.

I don't wanna come across as a hard-on, but a body will give your rig a better look FOR SURE! Tires next;-)...

On a different thought: we should g2g soon! I've rebuilt my rig once again, but it should be perfectly ready to go about this time next week, but I'll be in touch. I'd like to hit up coronado before the weather gets real bad

yeah and this pro-line body will sit lower, i am pretty happy right now with how the tires grip, but they are cut. i might get a set over the winter, but with I am in no hurry. pretty happy with how the rig does up at the fort, there was only one spot that I thought I should be able to get up and couldn't, like to see if anyone else could, it has a goofy over hang that i keep getting bound up on. everything else was just a matter of getting the right line. have to admit, I am a rear steer whore LOL, but eh, if you got it, use it i say. I did strip my rear servo, but i had a old paralax laying around that fit well. but yeah hit me up, i will prolly go back up again sunday if the wife will let me.

this is kinda crazy coming out of the bowl and then not slipping off the ledge next to the front tire, but I finally got it figured out.
