Mysterious
Quarry Creeper
Hey everyone,
I could use some motor advice. I’m not all that knowledgeable when it comes down to the electronics despite being in RC hobbies a long time with all kinds of vehicles in the air and on the ground. Generally lean on my friends for advice on what to get. Many moons ago I built an XR10… here's the actual build thread from that if you're interested...

I've used it sparingly over the last decade but one of the motors just pooched on me. It gets hot and won’t go til you give it of a bump. My friend broke it down and checked it out and he said it needs replacing. So I'm looking at buying a new matched pair of motors to install.
When I originally built this I put on Team Brood Apocalypse with these components....
Apocalypse
Options:
Wind and Armature: 45 Turn Type SR (+$10.00)
Armature Upgrades: Dye
Balance: Drill (Standard)
Comm Size: 7.5mm (Small)
Brush Configuration: Laydown (Standard)
Brush: Stock
Springs: Purple 9oz Heavy (Standard)
Lightweight: Stock
Bearings: Steel ABEC 7 Bearings
Matched: Yes (Quanity Must Be Two)
Timing: 6
Rotation: Normal
Vehicle: XR10
So I was thinking about either getting another set of Apocalypse with the same components (even though you can only indicate the wind, timing, and rotation now):

OR…
A friend of mine suggested I look at Holmes hobbies... and I came across these TORQUEMASTER PRO 540 45T motors which look comparable.

Which set would you guys suggest is better? Or do you have an alternate that you would suggest? :?:
I crawl for fun not in competition, though as you can tell I spent a lot on building this crawler cause I wanted something that was very capable so I'm looking to put quality motors. I run 3S & want to stick with 45T FYI.
Thanks in advance for any replies. "thumbsup"
