RECON G6 Challenge “Embrace the Suck”
The G-Train has been painted camo with the help of Axial Racing, Vanquish Products, and Pit Bull Tires we are locked, cocked, and ready to rock in honor of all the men and women serving in our Armed Forces as we head to the Sacramento, CA area to “Embrace the Suck”; as in the first RECON G6 Challenge™ of 2012.
On behalf of all the G6’ers and our sponsors, I’m proud to welcome home, Jason Brown, aka catpwred and from all of us, a huge “Thank You” for your service to our Country. G6’ers have heard your name at drivers meetings just before the National Anthem and now we get to pop your G6 cherry! “OORAH”! We will also be collecting toiletries and batteries and shipping them to the troops of Jason’s choice.

Where- Sacramento, CA exact location to be announced 48hrs prior to stage start time.
Tech – 1000hrs -1030hrs All G-Rides will be impounded after tech and stages will start immediately following the National Anthem.

- Wraith / 2.2 Class
G-Fee - $25.00 individual class / $30.00 Team Challenge (receive 5.00 off if you bring the mandatory items for the troops)

Embrace the Suck G6 Requirements
- 8 (eight) scale items are mandatory. 3 (three) of the 8 scale items must be military in nature. (jerry can, MRE, ammo can, or AR-15 are some examples)
- 4 mandatory troop items; 3 toiletry items. Baby wipes, deordorant, and toothbrushes a package of batteries. (AA or AAA)
- Wearing camo is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- Winch is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- Spare tire is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- Sand ramps are not mandatory, but highly recommended.
- Drivers Meeting Challenge is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
Embrace the Suck G6 Stage Previews
- 3 G6 Stages consisting of a Main Stage of 100 trail markers and two 50 trail marker sub stages. There will be a mandatory pit after the two sub stages. A driver will have to impound their G-Ride for the duration of the mandatory pit.
- Each stage will test driver’s ability to navigate through various terrains such as mud, sand, and tarmac.
- A driver will be tested mentally, physically, and spiritually during each stage.
- G-Central and pits will be centrally located, giving each driver an opportunity to pit prior to starting the next stage.
I am honored to be part of such a special RECON G6 Challenge™ and regardless of your political beliefs, we have the freedom to drive a G6 Challenge because of those brave men and women who fight for our freedom and this is our way of saying thank you to them.
It’s a new day, a new year, and I need my scaler fix in a RECON G6!
