Yup, that's my point. Paper and coin money is only as valuable as the government that backs it. Other than that, it has no intrinsic value.

How did my paying for a membership become a political topic??????

All I want to do is to be able to download and post pictures more easily.

I am 50 years old and not as computer savvy as most,

I tried posting pictures the old fashioned way but the tape kept pealing off of the screen and apparently only myself or someone standing behind me was able to see them.

If that's all you want to do then start a photo hosting account. Photobucket, ingur and 100's of others are simple to use and free. In the 20 years I've been using online forums I think I've uploaded maybe 20 images to the forums rather than using a remote service.

With a remote host you can use the same image link to post it on any forum. Uploading directly to a forum locks it to that forum.

Welcome to Chit Chat "thumbsup"

And the bit about the tape peeling has my sides hurting :lmao:

On a serious note, I paid for RCC membership once with a check. That was back in 2004 though and RCC only had like 47 members. :lmao: checks seem to be going to a thing of the past, but I do pay all my utilities and local bills with checks, it's just easier for me and I have a paper trail. That's just the way I like to do it. My mortgage, truck and RZR though, I pay by phone, those places are out of state or to far to drive just to write a check.

I do feel the pain of PayPal. I've used it allot in the past but seem to have issues with it now. I'd rather not bother with it. Some folks love it, some hate it.

Sad when the admins won't even take your money cause they're too lazy.

You can't even get jason to take your money and some dude is trying to get him to launch an investigation into a moderators actions. :lmao:

I can put your worries to rest Sir. Your check was received, upon opening...Badger laughed his ass off and how dumb you are for sending a check and threw it in the garbage. I'll almost guarantee you that...:flipoff:

not that I have seen, maybe never made it there but I find that unlikely.

Unfortunately I do not have a carbon copy type check book and of course i did not write down the date but it would have been late Feb that I mailed it. I just hate the idea of a check floating around in limbo.

If it is there then deposit it so I can close it out, if it never made it there then I need to consider closing that account.
