Buzzzz again Crawlers got another one for Y'all....

Im Running Reefs servos on my TRX4's belly side down and want to know your thoughts on the best servo horn for this application I have purchased several and only the cheap APEX RC horn from amazon seems to fit snug and stay on and command 700 OZ's of Torque at 14 volts.....

Let me know if anybody has found a servo horn that does the job on tough trails??? Buzzzzzz.....

Never seen a servo mount like that before, looks cool.
How long does the servo arm need to be?

ALOHA and BUZZZ to you Skickat :)

I would say as far as length at least 1 inch would work for the servo horn!!!

The placement of the servo was for 2 reasons one it lets me put a battery tray over the motor and trans and also it has more torque and range on its side in my experience though I have a couple other TRX4 projects and some im going to use the servo upright and really test the plusses and minuses.... BUZZZZZ....

There was a somewhat recent thread about servo horns but I can’t find it.

I remember that the Vanquish servo horns were a common recommendation.

They come in 20 and 24mm lengths and 25T.

I have a couple spares of the vanquish to try if my current 3Bros strips.

Just looking over the Vanquish in hand they appear to be good quality and should do the job no sweat.

Buzzz.. Benp.... Yeah keep me posted on the Vanquish ones it seems all the expensive ones Reefs/ pitbull /protek/ etc/ and suck and the cheap ones seem to work better ??? Keep me posted and ill let you know as I just purchased 4 different servo horns so we will see.... BUZZZZZZZ.....

I've transitioned to the 2-bucks-a-pop Hobbypark 25T horns off of Amazon, after demolishing an SSD, a Vanquish, and a ProTek. I've stripped out one of the Hobbyparks so far, but at 2 dollars, I don't sweat it. I have more. The Vanquish and ProTek hurt.

That's a very interesting way that servo lays down on your trx4. I don't think I've seen one mounted like that before that I can recall. What servo mount did you use for that configuration?

BUZZZZ... Levi.... I used a Reefs 500 Raw and Now it has Reefs 777 and I used Serpent RC servo mounts that clamp on top and bottom so tight and secure and the servo has double the power and steering radius!!!! I took a while to make everything fit real good around it but it works great :) BUZZZZ.....
