Not sure if the cross country will come back licenced or be discontinued?

Here’s my build up to date.

Thinking of staying with the stock look for now....

Here’s a video of my pre-run review, if interested.

Here’s how it sat out of box.... compared to scale tf2’s on small 1.55s. I found it fit nicely but it’s stance was a little tall imo.

..... not sure what to think of the decals. Wish I didn’t use them or went with the black. Unfortunately there isn’t the same hood decals in black.

FYI

Windows are installed with very strong glue..., not fun getting them off.

Than I modded the mirrors to swing., less chance of bashing them off now.

Here I modded the body mounting posts to get the body to sit a little lower to chassis. Also moved shocks and springs around to give a more scale stance and articulation.

Still wasn’t happy with how high the body sat.... so I started hacking....

Only the front was a concern/ issue.., front link mounts hitting chassis. Sorry if you’re unable to follow..., cut the mounts down and fastened links a little lower on the same bracket (re-drilled).

Cut off roof clip-tabs.... much easier to slip on and off

Couldn’t figure out why the jeep wouldn’t rock or sway when driving..., shocks have these large orings that are very tight. Shocks won’t leak but I took them out to get some rocking action when scale driving.

Roof rack came in..., though I’d dress it up a little.

Lites are powered by 2 AAs in the box on top since I might run the vehicle roofless at times.

Try 1.9’s?

How it sits for now..., although I put the 1.55s back on.

Will have a video released tonight possibly with it on the 1.9s[emoji108].

Thanks and be blessed

This is the first time that I've seen the seven slot grill that's behind the original.

Nice job, like the upgrades! "thumbsup"
