Hallo all, I currently run Interco TSL SX Super Swamper 2.2" G8 and I am pretty satisfied, however I would like to get a set of new tires with bigger OD and possibly little bit narrower...

I am looking at the following RC4WD tires, anybody has any experience with these and specially in the latest X2 SS compound?

Option 1:
Mickey Thompson 2.2 Baja Claw TTC
Option 2: Interco Super Swamper 2.2 TSL/Bogger

they both have OD about 145mm and width by respectively 52,6 mm and 46,7 mm, that is pretty much bigger than my current PL TSL super swamper that measure approx 134 mm. So I should definitely increase ground clearance.

Any suggestion, opinion, experince will be highly appreciated!

thanks a lot in advance

I had my 2.2 baja claws out this past weekend and I was surprised how good they did even in the nasty sticky mud we had. I was skeptical about them bc of all the te bad 1.9 reviews but they did great

Did you run them on a wraith? And what compound? Thanks a lot!

On my ridgecrest, so pretty darn close to one. They are te x2ss compound. I'm a pitbull fan bc of the 1.9s on scx10 but wanted to try something new. Very pleased with these tires. When I bought them I was thinking man I wish I ordered pitbulls but I'm glad I went with these now. The ridgecrest is getting turned into a wraith here in the next week or so.

I have the x2ss Baja Claws on my Wraith and they are incredible. I love them. They are not coming off my Wraith until they are worn down to the foam. I think the height and width is perfect. "thumbsup"

Thanks a lot guys, I like their look and glad to collect some good feedbacks, BTW do you run any weight in them?

And forgot to say.. Your rigs look cool, and the tires' look does give a nice scale appearance ! Great!

im running 4oz in each front wheel and 1 oz in each rear but when i convert mine to a wraith im going to try cutting the wheel weight in half. I will say this... Pitbulls are my favorite and will always be but i do like my 2.2 baja claws a lot. not as much as my 1.9 pitbulls but its a very close second.

I love my 2.2 2oz in each front wheel no weight in back wheels front wheels reverse roatation back wheels normal all four tennesse cut in x2ss compound soaked in vht in a sealed plastic bag for 2 days. could not ask for a better tire. also have the rb2s but they stay on the shelf

Thanks a lot, BTW what do you mean by "rb2s"? I do not quite get what tires they are (if they are tires...:) )

Thanks

I got feedback about Baja Claw but nothing about the Interco Super Swamper 2.2 TSL/Bogger. Anybody has any experience with these tires?

Thanks a lot again!

I've ran the SX's, and the Baja Claws. Out of the 2 I thought the SX 's were better. I haven't tried the Boggers though. Out of every scale tired I've ran the Pitbull Rock Beast II's put them all to shame. The only one that even came close to the performance of the Pits was the Iroks.

What is the size (outer diameter and width) of the Pitbull Rock Beast ? I was looking for something narrow and tall..... Thanks for your input!

Not sure off the top of my head. A quick search will find you the answer though. They are flat out the best performing scale tire there is. I can tell you that.
