RC4G third channel setup for 3 position

I am using a RC4G in my SMT10 project and need a three position switch for the third channel. I have it setup right now with a mix of the steering (ch1) and aux (ch3) which gives me 4ws but it doesn't give me independent control of both axles. I have ch3 set as the VR knob as that was the only way to get steering in both directions. If I set the aux as the switch it would only steer in one direction and go back to center. Is there a simple way to set the 4G to have a three position aux?

If it is not possible to set the aux for three position I have a plan to use a micro servo on ch4 to cut power to the rear servo to turn it on and off so that I can have two wheel steering when I want and 4ws when I need it. I had my clod dig set up this way years ago and it worked well, cutting power to the motor instead of the servo, but I thought this would work in a similar fashion. Thoughts? Is there a better option for this? If not, how would one hook up a BEC with this setup, as all of the servo ports are full and the R4EH-H doesn't have a dedicated battery port and I don't want to run 2 bec's to power each servo individually (this is how my clod is now, in fact).

Consider one of these if you aren't happy with your other method to get your four wheel steering set up.

This might help you with getting BEC power to your servos:

That's how I have my clod wired for the BEC's. It works but it makes for a mess of wires when it's done. I'll look into the controller you mentioned, seems like exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks!
