Alright, here it is. The "OFFICIAL" Scale event thread. I will post RULES and UPDATES in the following weeks. I am planning on doing at least a 1.9 ADULT class. I may do a KEIKI class if there are enough kids participating. Also planning on having some side events. But for now, here are some preliminary details.
LOCATION: Barber's Point Nimitz Cove (Pavilion 1814)
DATE: April 10, 2016
TIME: 8:00 CHECK-IN/TECH INSPECTION
ENTRY FEE: $25
Pre-Registration open til April 1st. Free shirt for all pre-registration entries.
Payments can be made through Paypal: jpcustomrcs@gmail or I will meet up with you.
ADULT CLASS
CHASSIS: Must be scale chassis (ladder frame). No tube chassis. No Rock Bouncers. No Comp chassis.
TIRES: Any SCALE looking tire up to 1.9" size. Yes, you can run 1.55" or 1.7" as long as it is SCALE looking. No COMP crawler tires.
WHEELS: Any size wheel you want. Just remember, 1.9" tire is the largest you can run.
MOTOR: Anything goes.
ESC: Any esc that can handle your motor of choice.
BODY: Must be a SCALE body. Yes, you can run the Honcho cage. You must run at least a cab and rear cage.
BATTERY: 2S LIPO or 7 cell NIMH/Nicd MAX

CHASSIS: ANYTHING
TIRES: ANYTHING
WHEELS: ANYTHING
MOTOR: ANYTHING
ESC: ANYTHING
BODY: ANYTHING
BATTERY: ANYTHING
SCORING:
- All PARTICIPANTS WILL SCORE THEMSELVES.
- Score sheets will be handed out.
- Courses will not be TIMED!!!
- Penalty points will be added. Penalties will be given for any assistance received from another driver.
- There will also be bonus points that may or may not be announced.
- A gate is cleared when the back tire locknut clears the marker. Once a gate is cleared, the gate is dead.
