I was sitting on the sofa early this morning with the little guy and he wanted to watch his kids shows, so I flipped on "Sprouts", a kids channel with plenty of kids programming. A show I have never seen came on called "Zerby Derby", a low budget kids show, much like public broadcasting, about RC cars with personalities....pretty neat.

I was looking at one of the main characters and I'll be danged if it wasn't built on the Axial SCX chassis and axles! VERY COOL! Putting my "Google-Fu" into actions, I found out there is a props company in Canada building the cars for the show and they are using AR60 axles on some of their builds as well.

Just thought it would be fun to share!!!"thumbsup"

Funny you mention that. My nephews were visiting a couple of weeks ago, and wanted to watch that show. I wasn't really paying any attention to it, but I looked up at the tv and I was surprised!! That was a cool idea that they use r/c's as characters. Gotta be fun making that show lol.

I seriously was going to post pictures and video but I couldn't find anything that wouldn't get me laughed out of the building....oh well! HAHAHAHA!!!

That's pretty cool. My first 6 years of fatherhood were spent watching many hours of Sprout, or at least hearing it in the background.

Lots of zerby derby in this house! I spend the entire time trying to figure out what the chassis/rigs are underneath. I have like 40 episodes on PVR! They have a couple Traxxas bandits as well, all the scx's use some huge monster wheels, not sure what they are. Oh and my daughter likes it, I guess I should mention that.

My daughter was watching this over the summer. I always tried to figure out what they were. Figured some type of tamiya or something.
