Come and take it
Hey guys I wanna do the rcbros leaf spring kit so here's a few questions

1 can I mount these shocks with the leaf spring kit? http://store.rc4wd.com/The-Ultimate-Scale-Shocks-100mm-Black-_p_1367.html

2 can I use these leafs? http://store.rc4wd.com/Red-Super-Soft-Flex-Leaf-Springs-4-_p_917.html

3 can I keep my servo in the stock area instead of chassis mount because my battery is in the front?

show me some pics of your scx10 with the kit and show how much articulation you get. and do you run 3 link, 4 link, 2 link or no links with the kit? And how many links would be best none, 2, 3, or 4?

IMO

#1 and #2 is a great combo and should provide great flex. The RC4wd red leafs are not that stiff at all but with the shocks (ultimate scale have a much softer spring as well) on there it should work great. I would go with the 90 mm, they should be plenty long enough unless you are jacking your truck up.

#3 Its been a long time since i had a servo on the axle so I cant really answer for certain but i want to say you should be fine. PM RCBRO he might be able to better answer that or someone else. The leaf kit might actually come with a chassis mount for the servo so it might not work now that i think about it. Its been a while though wait for someone elses response.

No links, the springs take their place entirely. As Hoyt said pm RCBros about spring length, but those are a good choice. And the stock shocks are 90mm, but I can tell you the RC4WD Ultimate Scale are VERY soft, and are designed to work with leafs. If the suspension ends up too firm for you just take out the small internal shock springs and just use the leaf's spring tension. Yeah, those look like good choices.

And do I have to cut in to this here to keep my bumper?

Can someone answer this? And I saw on another thread that these work better than the rc4wd leaf springs please tell me which are better?

It depends on the wheelbase of the body used. I'm in the process of a tamiya f-350 body with leafs, and i needed to, but the wheelbase is a little longer than stock. I ended up just bending my own frame rails to remedy it.

The leafs you posted arent ready to bolt in. They're meant as a "helper" leaf for heavy rigs, you would use whatever your current leafs are, and these in addition to them. There's no reason they won't work, but you will be bending your own eyelets. And taking a risk they may not be stiff, or soft enough.

Thanks for the reply good thing you answered because I was about to buy them without noticing that so im gonna just buy the rc4wd leaf springs and if they are not stuff enough than I will buy those.

I ordered my RCBro rear kit last night and have been doing my home work also .. yes you will need to notch the bumper for full suspension travel.

what body are you going to use??? For my cherokee I'm using the F350 leafs and will be dearching them a little

Right now I have the stock dingo body but I'm gonna be getting a blazer body.

And does anybody know if the dinky hitch will fit on back of the frame with the leaf spring kit?
Here's the hitch http://www.dinkyrc.com/product.sc?productId=26

The shocks posted will work fine as well as the red leafs. However we have found the tamiya leafs work better due to the length and they also last alot longer. Price tag is easier on the wallet too!

The servo on the axle can be done, but the leafs will interfere with your linkages some. You'll need to get creative with some spacers for everything to work correctly. The dinky hitch may also work, but shimming of the leaf spring will need to be done to make up for the additional gap.

The notch is necessary in the rear cross member if you with to keep it.
