I have 2 SCX24's with 4WS the video shows how to add it using Drive Modes. So this is what I followed

Updating the 4-in1 firmware

Thie firmware on the 4-in-1 module is what controls the protocols and what rx's will bind to the radio. This is being updated at reasonable intervals so it's a good idea to keep it up todate especially with the Mt12 & surface being new. The easiest way to get the firmware is to download it from the Multi Protocol website.

After downloading it put it on the Sd card in the Firmware directory using either the Usb cable to connect the Mt12 or take the Sd card out and put it in your commuter.

Turn on the MT12
Press SYS button
Page to SD card
Scroll dow to Firmware
Press the Scroll Wheel
Scroll down to the firmware file you just put on the SD card
Press the Scroll Wheel again
Choose either Internal or External which ever is correct for your TX
Press the Scroll Wheel
The update process should start with a progress bar
When complete it should say Success on the screen.
At this point your done use RTN button to blackout until you get to the main screen.
At this point I generally power cycle the radio don't know if it's necessary just something I do to make sure everything loads correctly
