If anyone is looking for a great radio- this one is it- I didn't need 6 channels (Radiolink has one btw) this one has 4- I DO NOT have any connection to this company- I had a Specktrum DX3R that i really likes- but could no longer get reasonable receivers for it- I researched this a lot and finally I got the Radiolink. It has great range-lots of controls and you can put in a li-po 2s battery for the radio. I used to have Futaba's and Airtronics- now they are way out of my price range. So if you are looking for (imho) for a great radio set, this is at least worth you looking at- you won't be disappointed - Thanks for reading- Vic in So Cal

And the great thing about RC4GS is that it is the same inside to RC6GS, all you need is just 2 toggle switch (on-off-on), some wires, a solder, and RC6GS firmware which you can get from radiolink site. There are how to videos at youtube. Just search for "RC4GS RC6GS".

I have the RC4GS V2. It’s really nice. If you upload the newest RC6RS V2 firmware, you can set both of switches on the handle to their own channel, and have 5 channels, without opening it up! I haven’t tried it, but with the mixing functions l think you can control dual speed controls or servos, just by plugging them in and setting it up.

So, kind of a weird set up thing that worked. I wanted to see how fast my old servos are. I set model 10 up as a servo tester! I set channel 1 and 3-6 as controlled by the steering wheel. Plugged a speed controller in channel 2, connected the battery and all the servos, and it worked like a charm.
Unfortunately now l know that all my old futaba servos are super slow, especially when compared to a newish one that retails for about $6.
