R1 Axle SCX10 Cherokee

Thanks! I was thinking about cutting the tires, but I have no idea how to go about it, and I don't really want to destroy a good tire, would it just be a case of getting a sharp knife and cutting the lugs?

Jackington you should look into the Proline Cherokee body for the summit, with the wide axles and some wheel base length it would look badass.

Bada$$ cherokee! How did cutting the tires work? Got any pics?

KennethXJ - I still haven't got round to cutting the tires up, I have been away from my 'toys' for a while, I think I will leave them for now anyway, I still like the way they look and the mud isn't so bad, especially because all we have here at the moment is snow!

I have got one of those longer wheelbase bodies that I use on my desert truck, I might give it a go and see how it looks, the couple cm of extra length might make it look just right :)

I have just got the Cherokee back into a running state, just in time for all the snow we had in the UK, with a Traxxas Velineon this thing sure as hell goes some, and its super fun in the snow, epic 4wd doughnuts in the icy slush!
I would have got some photos/videos up but unfortunately after 2 years of abuse and brushless motors the SCX10 tranny finally gave up the ghost and stripped the idler gear, and a spur gear for that matter, popping wheelies sure puts a lot of strain on those plastic gears! :)
Hopefully a new set of gears will arrive in the next few days and I can get something cool out of the truck, it does like to flip over quite a lot, those tires are very very tall, so some wheel weights are in order, and I am very very tempted by some Vanquish Products wheels, I have a set of the 1.9 OMP wheels on my custom desert truck and they look badass, so pricey though!

In other news, the roots blower still hasn't fallen off! "thumbsup"

Hi. guys. Sorry for my English.
I have a question. Are standart axial 1.9 rims compatible whith portal G-made axels, or I can only use 2,2 rims?
Thanks in advance!
