Questions, suggestions and contact information

I received my order yesterday, the 2mm socket was filled with dirt. The wheel widners are really nice, so is the hardware. It was odd that the new socket was already packet with dirt though.
It looks like dusty residue from the black finish treatment process.
The cutting process can leave chips and dust in the hole.
Or that can get in there if the tip sits between machining and finishing and the shop is dusty.
Sorry about that!

If you have a 2mm hex tip (and or a 1.5mm) you should be able to slide it in there to loosen everything then blow the dust out.

We will have to QC those a little better for sure.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Unfortunately do to the local lock down, I can't really give a good date to anything. They are in process but we are down to a 1 person crew daily, so everything is a bit crazy.

We DO have the 4-40 Flange style in stock. they use a 2.5mm socket and actually fit into recesses a bit better:
4-40 x .25" FLANGE Acorn Wheel Studs

We also have the slightly longer .4375" style in stock. Same 3mm hex tool but just a bit longer:
4-40 x .4375" Acorn Wheel Studs
